I am unfortunately selling this Spyder as I just purchased it in December. My first Spyder was a 2013 RT and my wife and I rode it a great deal, mostly several trips from Ohio to Florida. We upgraded to the RT-S and this much improved version with the 1330cc engine and 6 speed transmission. It has all the standard equipment plus the semi-automatic transmission and Factory GPS. It also has the remainder of a 3 year warranty.
We had great plans for this Spyder but an unfortunate family situation has greatly limited our ride time. As described, it only has 446 miles and 100 of these is the ride home from the dealer. We have been limited to a few short rides this summer and long vacation trips are out of the question for the foreseeable future. Rather that have it sit in the garage and depreciate, I have made the decision to sell. It is in new condition with the exception of a small scratch/scuff by the right passenger hand-hold as shown in the pictures. I know by selling in the first year of ownership that I am taking a big hit by depreciation but I want someone to enjoy it and I think I have it very fairly priced. Bombardier Designs Alternative-Fuel Unicycle
Tue, 17 Mar 2009Not only has Bombardier designed and built snowmobiles, planes, trains and the Can-Am Spyder, the privately held Quebec-based company also tinkers with prototypes like the Embrio – the French Canadian answer to the Segway Human Transporter and resembles closely to the “Uno”. Unlikely to ever see actual production, this one-wheeled concept uses gyroscopic technology to balance its rider. The vehicle was allegedly designed to demonstrate what we bipedal humanoids might be using for transportation in the year 2025.

2008-2012 Can-Am Spyder Fuel Vapor Leak Recalls Expands to US
Thu, 20 Dec 2012A pair of recalls for fuel vapor leaks on Can-Am Spyder roadsters has expanded to the U.S. According to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration, one recall affects 9,600 units from model years 2008-2010 while the second, larger recall affects 33,700 from model years 2008-2012. An earlier recalls from Transport Canada affects 9400 units for the a fuel cap issue and 2,431 units for a fuel vapor canister vent hose issue.
