I am selling my 2012 Can Am Spyder RS with electronic shift transmission. This bike is in excellent condition although it is not brand new. You might be able to find a small scratch here or there but there is nothing that I noticed other than the mark on the handle bars and the front air dam. Please let me know if you need any close up pictures of anything and I will either add to the auction or email directly. I purchased this bike in July from an older gentleman that took it to Florida last year for the winter. He purchased it brand new here in Indiana and trailered it to Florida. He put around 2,100 miles on it and sold it to me due to health reasons. The reason I have only put 400 miles on the machine, and the reason for selling, is due to my wrists and hands. I can only ride a few miles before stopping due to not being able to feel my wrists and hands. This bike comes with 3 windshields (low, med and the one in the pictures which is the tallest),air deflectors, foot boards, Can Am cover with bag and the extended warranty till October of 2016 which is transferrable. The bike was broken in correctly and the service was completed on time at a Can Am dealer. I really enjoy riding this bike but since I can't really enjoy riding much I can put the money to better use. I am willing to take $13,500 for the bike with all of the accessories listed above which is much less than I paid just a few months ago but my loss is your gain. Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.
BRP to Raise CN$262.3 Million with Initial Public Offering
Thu, 23 May 2013Bombardier Recreational Products announced an initial public offering price of CN$21.50 per share when the company goes public. At that price ($20.83 in U.S. dollars) for 12,200,000 shares, the IPO would generate proceeds of CN$262.4 million (US$254.8 million) for BRP, the company behind Ski-Doo and Lynx snowmobiles, Sea-Doo watercraft, Evinrude & Johnson outboard engines, and Can-Am‘s ATVs, side-by-sides and Spyder three-wheeled roadsters.
