2010 Can Am Spyder RS-S SE5 Semi-automatic 5 speed, 998 cc Rotax engine, disc brakes Only approximately 772 actual miles! Purchased from Barnett Harley-Davidson in El Paso, TX in June 2014. Only driven it 230 since purchase. This motorcycle is in excellent condition - it just needs to be driven. No aftermarket performance add-ons. Cargo liner was only non-original item added. Some scratches on right wheel and fender; plastic cargo area was damaged but repaired (driveway mishap). Custom cover included with purchase. Excellent condition KBB values up to $11,900 - asking well under that. A $500 non-refundable deposit is required within 24 hours; full payment due within 7 days. Thu, 03 Apr 2014Canadian company Bombardier Recreational Products (BRP) has an ongoing relationship with the National Hockey League (NHL), and it’s latest iteration has sports legends telling how much they like riding Can-Am Spyders. An earlier video had NASCAR racer Danica Patrick riding the Spyder around Charlotte Motor Speedway. Well, not BRP has tapped six-time Stanley Cup champion Mark Messier to use his own special technique to reach out to potential riders.

Developed in partnership with the Advanced Technology Center at Sherbrooke University in Quebec and with funding from the Government of Canada, the hybrid Spyder is an ambitious project for BRP. We met up with Scott MacWilliam from BRP at the Toronto Motorcycle Show to take a look at a working prototype of the Can-Am’s hybrid three-wheeler.
