72 Honda SL125, VIN# SL125-1120163, Titled in Tennessee, The bike has all new cables, levers, lever covers, motor seals, fork seals, headlight, foot peg rubber, kick start rubber, shifter rubber, all bulbs, battery, carb, air filter, seat cover, tires, tubes, handle bars, grips, mirrors, paint, decals, chain and sprockets. It’s not a 100% restore, bike runs good and strong, had up to 55 mph, I have more pictures of the build and I can video it running. 1971 Honda SL125 in full operational and running condition with a clear FL title and over $5,000 in parts and labor put into it over the last couple of years. The bike was completely stripped down to the frame, nuts and bolts and electrical. New parts include a NOS wiring harness and coil, battery, foot peg rubbers and new stainless steel wire spokes. Although little official information is available, we can take some educated guesses based on what we can see in this photo plus the spy shots we published a couple weeks ago. The new, more aggressive front end prominently features a radiator grill, which we expect will provide the increased cooling required by a beefed up version of the liquid-cooled Rotax 1330 ACE in-line 3 cylinder mill currently powering the Spyder RT tourer.

Tue, 04 Feb 2014The Motorcycle Industry Council (MIC) reported a modest 1.4% growth in U.S. motorcycle and scooter sales in 2013, with consumers purchasing 465,783 vehicles. The sales data represents numbers from the MIC’s member brands which include BMW, Can-Am, Ducati, Harley-Davidson, Honda, Kawasaki, KTM, the Piaggio Group (which includes Aprilia, Moto Guzzi and Vespa), Victory, Suzuki, Triumph and Yamaha.

Available from C & S Custom. C & S says the adaptors are a direct fit onto the existing Spyder hubs, and can accept a 5mm x 114mm bolt pattern which is common on many small cars.
