Buell Other description

2008 (25th Anniversary Edition) Buell Ulysses. Black custom paint job on entire bike and luggage set.15,600 mis. Garage kept. K&N breather valve. Warmed grips work great. Two 12 VOLT outlets--one on instrument cluster and 1 under the seat. Bought it about a year ago and have only put about 600mis on it since I've had it--have been too busy to ride. It runs incredibly well with no problems. Amazing bike with incredible torque and handling in the twisties. It's extremely comfortable with two riders--my girlfriend says it's the most comfortable bike she's ever ridden on as a passenger. The fuel tank for this model runs through the hollow frame, so the resulting low center of gravity means it handles like a dream. If I had the time to ride it, I'd never sell this bike because it's amazing. However, it's a waste to me to see such an amazing machine just sit there....505-385-XXXX for more details. If you're interested, make a decent offer. Thanks

New EBRs Rolling Down The Assembly Line

Tue, 31 Dec 2013

On its Facebook page recently, EBR posted this picture of what are presumably 1190RX models in the first four stations of the assembly line. While maybe not Earth shattering news, it is uplifting to see Erik Buell back in business, with models we can’t wait to ride in the new year. From the photo we can see the 1200cc V-Twin engines in place, with swingarms mounted.

The closing of Buell Motorcycle Company by parent company Harley-Davidson was a major blow to the company’s namesake, Erik Buell. Many lesser men would have accepted defeat and moved on with their lives. Buell is not like most people.

EBR First American Sportbike To Score Points In WSBK, Makes History

Fri, 18 Jul 2014

The EBR 1190RX had its best finish to date in the FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK) series during the only US round at Laguna Seca in Salinas, Calif., this past weekend. In an exciting twist, the wild card entry of Larry Pegram running the #72 Foremost Insurance/EBR/AMSOIL/Hero entry garnered a 14th place finish in the second race, earning the first-ever WSBK points for an American motorcycle manufacturer.  [In actuality, Pegram's EBR crossed the line in 16th place. However, the two Bimota BB3 entries who finished eighth and ninth with riders Ayrton Badovini and Christian Iddon, respectively, have had their finishes nullified all season because Bimota has not met the FIM's homologation requirements.
