Buell Other description

Up for auction we have a 2006 Buell Ulysses XB12X Adventure SportBike. It is in very good running condition. This is a one owner bike purchased new here in Colorado Springs on March 3, 2006. It has just over 7400 miles on it. The front tire is in good condition. The rear tire is at approximately 50% tread. The only issue I have noticed is that the neutral light on the dash does not light up when in neutral.  All of the other lights and the horn work properly. There are some very minor cosmetic blemishes here and there. None stand out and most can only be seen when up close (within 3 feet of the bike).  For instance the grab bars in the back show some scuffs from carrying loads. The handle bar shields have some small scuffs ect. This bike starts right up and shifts smoothly. The brakes stop good. It handles smoothly and has adjustable suspension. This bike has a ton of low end torque. It really gets up and goes. This has the taller seat on it. I am 5'10" and my feet barely touch the ground. Lower seats are available for the vertically challenged riders. There are no leaks anywhere to be found. We are selling this for our consignor because the transmission in his pickup truck went out. He needs the cash to get his truck back on the road. This has a clear Colorado title.  It comes with owners manual and two original keys. Please feel free to call 719-231-6727 and ask for Justin with any more questions. Please do not call before 8am or after 8pm MST.

Shipping and handling will be the responsibility of the buyer.  We can assist with loading from our business. We have a motorcycle ramp and can help the shipper you choose load it up.

Thanks for looking at our auctions!

EBR Nation Part 3: Made In America

Wed, 10 Aug 2011

Erik Buell Racing has released the third episode of its series about the new 1190RS sportbike. The latest episode focuses on the company’s “Made in America” philosophy, with its goal of producing a high-performance superbike in the U.S.A. As Erik Buell, racer Geoff May and designer Tony Stefanelli discuss the themes of innovation and freedom, we can’t help but wonder however whether they’re talking about American ideals, or about being out from Harley-Davidson’s umbrella.
