2000 Buell Lightning X1. Terrific condition with 10,500 mis currently, but will change since bike is still being ridden. Bike has following upgrades: Vance and Hines exhaust, K&N air filter, Buell Factory light weight polished wheels, upgraded adjustable clutch and brake levers, new tires (changed since photos were taken), fresh plugs, fresh Amsoil in engine and transmission, Buell racing ECM, Upgraded Works coil over shock with remote reservoir, professionally installed. Bike adult owned and always stored inside. This is the best handling bike I have ever owned and rides well. The 1203 VOLT Twin engine has impressive torque and overall performance. A small Spanish company called Bottpower, which specializes in custom motorcycles, has unveiled new photos and a teaser of the XR1R project, a track bike equipped with a Buell V-twin. It is known that the motorcycle is assembled on a titanium frame, equipped with advanced electronics, including three power supply cards, traction control and launch control, and its specific power is close to 1kg per hp.

Hero MotoCorp Forms Joint Venture with Magneti Marelli

Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp is teaming up with electronic fuel injection expert Magneti Marelli in a new joint venture. Hero will hold a 60% share in the company with Magenti Marelli controlling the other 40%. The two companies are initially investing a combined US$8.5 million into the joint venture, with a planned  investment of US$27 million total over the next ten years.

Erik Buell Racing To Host Dealers At AIMExpo

Add another to the list of manufacturers committing to the American International Motorcycle Expo, as Erik Buell Racing (EBR) has announced it will be hosting its dealers at the event to be held in October this year. As such, EBR joins an expanding list of motorcycle OEMs participating in AIMExpo, the powersports industry’s first combined trade, consumer and media event in North America. Since introducing its first motorcycle, the EBR 1190RS, in 2011, enthusiasts worldwide have been waiting to see the rest of Erik Buell’s lineup.
