1982 Honda Nighthawk 450. Great condition, runs great. (1982)
This bike looks and runs great, especially for it's age. Chrome and paint very shiny. No tears or or visible wear on the seat. New hand grips, and a new set of fork seals come with the bike. I purchased this bike a year ago at a garage sale. It had been sitting in the guy's dry basement since 2005. I've been restoring it and cruising around since I got it running. Title comes with bike. No major work to get it running other than cleaning out carberators, replacing spark plugs, changing oil, and lubricating chain. Tach is stuck, but tach cable turns as it should. Small paint chip in gas tank (1/4"). Pipes are blued at the heads, but nothing out of the ordinary. Key switch works, but can be turned on with anything flat. There's no rust on the entire machine, other than a little surface rust where the pipes are blued. It has good power for a 450 and gets incredible fuel mileage. A very light machine, good for beginners, cruising, or commuting to work. All lights and blinkers work. It will need a license plate if buyer intends to drive it home (or at your own risk). Will accept cash in person, or a certified or cashier's check. Bike will need to be picked up at my home in Coldwater OH. May consider meeting buyer somewhere if not too far.2013-09-04 04:42:08Coldwater, Ohio, US17,244800.00 -
1983 Honda CB450SC Nighthawk (1983)
1983 Honda CB450SC Nighthawk 2,977 Miles 447cc Parallel twin-cylinder engine 6-Speed manual transmission 57.1 inch wheel base 30.9 inch seat height 392.5 lb weight (no fuel) 3.2 gallon fuel capacity (.5 gallon reserve) If you’re looking for an inexpensive, low mileage beginner or commuter bike this one is for you! From what I know and can tell this bike is 100% original. According to the previous owner, I am the fourth person to own the bike. I bought this bike a few weeks ago because I really like the way it looks and because of its overall condition and performance. The only reason I’m considering selling it is because I’ve put a total of 58 miles on it since buying it and I’ve come to the realization that I probably am not going to have enough time to ride both of my bikes. If the bike sells for my asking price great, if not I’ll keep it and go through the maintenance this winter. I have a clear title in hand. I’ve added gas and installed a new inline fuel filter, that’s it. The previous owner told me he installed a new battery and the battery does look to be brand new. That’s really all the history I can provide, I have no maintenance records on the bike. However, based on the motorcycles performance and looks I think it has been well maintained. I don’t want to mislead anyone, this is a 30 year old motorcycle and I am sure that there are maintenance items that should be reviewed and completed. I have both the Clymer and Honda field service manuals in pdf format that I can provide the new owner. The bike is being sold as-is. Here’s what I can tell you: The bike has started and ran every time I’ve jumped on it. The clutch shifts smoothly. The acceleration is responsive.2013-09-03 04:04:10Columbus, Ohio, US2,9771,200.00

EBR First American Sportbike To Score Points In WSBK, Makes History
Fri, 18 Jul 2014The EBR 1190RX had its best finish to date in the FIM Superbike World Championship (WSBK) series during the only US round at Laguna Seca in Salinas, Calif., this past weekend. In an exciting twist, the wild card entry of Larry Pegram running the #72 Foremost Insurance/EBR/AMSOIL/Hero entry garnered a 14th place finish in the second race, earning the first-ever WSBK points for an American motorcycle manufacturer. [In actuality, Pegram's EBR crossed the line in 16th place. However, the two Bimota BB3 entries who finished eighth and ninth with riders Ayrton Badovini and Christian Iddon, respectively, have had their finishes nullified all season because Bimota has not met the FIM's homologation requirements.

Thu, 29 May 2014The AMA Pro GoPro Daytona SportBike class makes its much-anticipated return to Road America this weekend. The four-mile Wisconsin circuit is a particularly exciting place to watch the middleweight bikes because its long straights and braking zones make passing and lead changes commonplace. More than just a test of man and machine, the races often develop into a strategic battle leading up to the all-important last lap and run up the hill to the checkered flag.

Fri, 16 May 2014Two EBR1190RS race bikes will compete in this year’s Isle of Man TT. This is historic in itself, as never has a Buell motorcycle competed on the famed course. Making the moment more special is the fact both pilots are also Americans: TT veteran, and 2010 TT Zero race winner Mark Miller, and relative newcomer to the TT, Brandon Cretu.
