Buell Lightning description

I have a beautiful 2009 Buell XB12SS Lightning Long. The bike has about 3700 miles near perfect shape (small dent in header pipe). It has carbon fiber "gas tank" and front fairing, brand new tires. For performance reasons, bike has been upgraded with racing ECM. Bike is registered and inspected and ready for a new owner. This is a rare find so don't miss this opportunity and great deal. If you have any questions, please email me. Bike is for sale locally so i reserve the right to stop the auction at any time.

Title has salavage history as the previous owner bend the wheel slightly. I have installed brand new forks and new wheels and tires to be sure. I put over 2k miles on it and it runs like a charm.

Bike is being sold locally so i reserve the right to stop the auction at any time.

Thanks

AMA Sportbike: 2012 Daytona 200 Results

Tue, 20 Mar 2012

The 2012 Daytona 200 delivered another fairy-tale finish with underdog privateer Joey Pascarella and the Project 1 Atlanta team fending off a pack of three other racers to win by a slim 0.048 second margin. Competing in just his first Daytona 200, 19-year-old Pascarella from Victorville, Calif., held the lead for 41 out of 57 laps to finish first ahead of a last year’s winner Jason DiSalvo while Cameron Beaubier squeezed by 2010 Daytona Sportbike Champion Martin Cardenas in a photo-finish to take third. For the Project 1 Atlanta team, the win marked a dramatic turnaround from a let down in 2011.

Eugene Laverty, aboard his Voltcom Crescent Suzuki GSX-R1000, led the field today as the first day of World Superbike testing got underway at the Phillip Island circuit in Australia, site of the first race of the 2014 season. Under sunny skies and perfect weather conditions, Laverty adapted quickly to his new ride after spending last season aboard the Aprilia RSV4 Factory. The Suzuki offered incredible feedback and allowed him to push right out of the gates, ultimately setting a fastest lap time of 1:30.513.
