Buell Lightning description

Up for grabs is my 2009 Buell XB12scg. It has been custom built with over $3500 in REAL carbon fiber parts from American sportbike. Engine is a 1203CC Air-cooled V-twin fitted with a Buell race ECM,K&N filter,and special ops exhaust. Crossroads bars,ram air CF airbox,led signals,8 Piston front brake caliper, CF solo seat cowl etc.New pirelli diablo tires. This bike runs better than new with zero issues. I am in no hurry to sell really. Just seeing whats out there.No dirtbikes, four wheelers, or boats

Hero MotorCorp Buys Half of Erik Buell Racing

According to a press release from Hero MotorCorp, the U.S. arm of Hero, HMCL (NA), has agreed to purchase 49.2% of Erik Buell Racing for $25 million. HMCL (NA) is said to have transferred $15 million to EBR with the remaining $10 million to be paid within the next nine months. Hero says it will have two members and one observer sitting on the EBR board of directors but Erik Buell will continue as Chairman and CEO of the company.

Update Nov 13: Last Buell Motorcycle Rolls Off the Line An emotional Erik Buell has posted a video on the Buell Motorcycle site officially announcing that Harley-Davidson has shut down all Buell motorcycle production. Get the Flash Player to see this player. About 2.7 million years ago a meteorite crashed into Hälsingland, Sweden creating the Dellen lake system, which only freezes over once a year. On March 4th with temperatures at -10C, Craig Jones, riding a Buell 1125R complete with a nitrous oxide kit (an estimated extra 50bhp), reached a top speed of 148.7mph on a 1.1km run over the frozen Lake Dellen.
