Up for sale is my 2008 XB9SX it has very low mileage at 1867, in excellent condition! This listing is for the bike with all of the extras pcitured, feel free to make an offer for just the bike. I will not separate until the bike is sold.
-1867 Miles -Newer battery -Excellent condition -Serviced at 1k miles -Only true SX piece that is missing is the headlight grill. -Buell Factory select seat with red insert -Original kick ash airbox cover and windscreen, still have factory stickers. Excellent condition -Original black wheels in excellent shape -Tail bag, has wrinkles on top of it -Factory race muffler -Carbonfiber set cowl -I have a video of it running if you want to see it let me know -Owners manual -PDF repair manual -2 Keys -Tires are original, but not cracked or hard. Bike is in excellent condition. I bought it for my wife and she had no interest in it and never rode it. Clean and clear title. Selling two of my three Buells at the moment, keeping my 12S (my favorite). Feel free to make me an offer for both bikes. FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements
Fri, 17 Jan 2014The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.

Although based on the existing low-production 1190RS, EBR reps claim there are 426 new parts on the RX. Highlights include full-color TFT instrumentation, a 21-level traction-control system and an LED headlight.

Tue, 03 Feb 2009What could be considered this generation’s Harold and Kumar, a pair of Swarthmore College engineering students have designed and built an experimental hydrogen fuel cell-powered “motorcycle.” Sourcing parts from what looks to be an early generation Buell Lightning and the unearthed remnants of Robby the Robot, the duo may have just created the World’s quietest and slowest two-wheeled grant-waster. Constructed with the intent to “evaluate the viability of a hydrogen economy by studying real-world data,” the two-man team says that once the experiment yields the likely results that anyone who uses a hydrogen-powered vehicle is a homo, results predicted by the pair’s Alpha Beta member roommate, they’ll abandon any legitimate research efforts and just use it to follow women that would normally avoid them. “Since it doesn’t make any noise we’ll get a lot closer to the girls before they have a chance to formulate lame excuses to leave,” said the elder of the two.
