Buell Lightning description

2004 Buell Lightning XB12S, A sad day indeed. I'm selling my 04 Buell XB12S Lightning. 11,361 on the odometer, Crossroads handle bars and Special Ops pipe. It was dropped back in 08, but it was a low speed fall (10 MPH) in the grass. So, no frame damage. One of the blinkers up front was damaged from the fall as you can see from the pics. The bike originally came with black plastics, but I replaced them with the blue ones. I attempted to cut the fender off myself but it didn't work out to well. I had the intentions of replacing it, but never got around to doing it. Tires are Michelin Pilot Power 2's. I'm asking $5000 OBO. $5,000.00 2566037083

Update Nov 13: Last Buell Motorcycle Rolls Off the Line An emotional Erik Buell has posted a video on the Buell Motorcycle site officially announcing that Harley-Davidson has shut down all Buell motorcycle production. 2013 AIMExpo: EBR to Distribute Hero Motorcycles in North America

Erik Buell Racing (EBR) announced at the 2013 AIMExpo that it will be distributing Hero brand motorcycles and scooters in North America. Specific models to be offered and pricing details have yet to be determined. “The actual EBR collaboration with Hero MotoCorp began in late 2011, when we were contracted to deliver a concept hybrid scooter for Hero in record time for the January 2012 Delhi show,” says EBR founder Erik Buell.
