Up for sale is a 2002 limited edition Buell x1 lightning, its equipped with a 1203 ccm (73.41), 101 HP V2 four-stroke engine, and is a fuel injected 5-speed. The bike looks great and rides excellent, I am a 60 year old guy and I just can't drive it like I did when I was younger. The bike is being sold as is. Erik Buell Racing to Attend Motodays Fiera Roma

Erik Buell Racing is continuing to expand its European presence by appearing at Motodays Fiera Roma, one of Europe’s largest motorcycle trade shows. Held March 6-9 in Rome, Motodays will be an important event for EBR’s plans to establish a European dealer network. EBR opened its first European office last month in the Netherlands, but Motodays will be the European motorcycle show debut of the company and its 1190RX sportbike.

AMA to Combine Daytona Sportbike and Supersport Classes in 2015

AMA Pro Racing announced plans to combine its Daytona Sportbike and Supersport classes into a single category by the 2015 season. The two classes currently share many similarities including engine displacement regulations, minimum weight limits and eligible machines. The Supersport class has more restrictions on modifications and are limited to a maximum top speed of 165 mph while Daytona Sportbike machines are allowed to reach speeds up to 170 mph.

Larry Pegram To Race EBR 1190RX In 2014 AMA Superbike

Larry Pegram and Erik Buell Racing will be partnering up in 2014 to race an EBR 1190RX in AMA Superbike. This will be Pegram’s third different OEM in as many years, as he rode a Yamaha last year, BMW before that and Ducati in 2011. Supporting Pegram will be his long-time title sponsor, Foremost Insurance Group, along with EBR sponsors AMSOIL and Hero MotoCorp.
