Buell Lightning description

2002 Buell Lightning X1, Lightning X1 - Some people are afraid of intimacy. The Buell rider embraces it full throttle. With a low center of gravity and amazing flickability, its easy to understand why our riders develop a passion for the S-curve. And because Buell motorcycles feature race-bred suspension and rigid frames, theyve got an uncanny ability to know where you want to go - even before you do. The Lightning X1 is a standout when it comes to getting closer to the road. With its nimble handling, aggressive riding position and Showa suspension, the X1 rules the corners at high speeds and low angles. And with a 101hp, 1203cc V-Twin engine with Dynamic Digital Fuel Injection, youll be rolling out of the turns as quickly as you dove into them. Go find yourself a twisty stretch of road and tell it what you really think.

The story behind the 2010 Buell Blast Motorcycle [video]

Wed, 05 Aug 2009

If you haven’t heard, or have seen the new 2010 Buell Blast, you should check it out before viewing the video below. Buell has re-branded itself over the last month or so and have been taking a very close look at themselves.  Not only did they change their logo, but they decided to put to rest a motorcycle that just didn’t fit what they really wanted to be making.  Sport bikes. So the 2010 Buell Blast is a crushed hunk of metal signifying the end of that model.  There will be no Blast in the future so don’t hold your breath!
