What we have is a 1999 Buell X1 Lighting in Great Conduction. New Continental tires and serviced, at 6,500 miles. I swapped out the stock air cleaner for a Forcewinder, and carbon fiber fuel tank trim, and added Napoleon bar end mirrors. The bike also has a Vanes & Hines muffler. The stock body parts are included in the auction, and a 1999 parts and service manual, that states 101 horsepower @ 6000rpm and 90ft-lbs torque @ 5500 rpm. All lights/blinkers, &gauges work fine. This is defiantly a fun bike to ride and draws attention from sport bike, and HD riders, alike. I had a unique opportunity this week to sit down with Oliver Shokouh, the founder of the Love Ride, only days before the 25th anniversary of the purportedly largest one-day rally in the world, kicks-off this coming Sunday, October 26. First and foremost I’m very grateful for Oliver to set aside over half an hour of his precious time so close to the event.
