This White Lightning has many goodies including; Rizoma bar ends, Pegasus frame plugs,Blk. wheel stripes,Factory carbon fiber intake and exhaust,factory clip-on style handle bars,factory aluminum rearsets, American Sportbike aluminum oil filler neck w/ screw on cap, smoke tail light lens w/integrated turn signals( really cleans up the rear of the bike), aluminum passenger pegs,new later model front brake disc( no more annoying rattling), lifetime aluminum and S.S. oil filter( just clean and re-use, very easy), new lithium ion featherweight battery and a new Metzeler sport tech M3 rear tire. The front tire still has some life left in it( Metzeler M3 also w/ approx. 1500+ miles left). A nice carburated tuber sure to become a collectors item in the future. Only year for the carbed White Lightning...

2014 EBR Motorcycles 1190RX Preview

Erik Buell throws another punch at the sportbike market with the impressive new 1190RX revealed today at the inaugural AIMExpo in Orlando, Florida. Although based on the existing low-production 1190RS, EBR reps claim there are 426 new parts on the RX. Highlights include full-color TFT instrumentation, a 21-level traction-control system and an LED headlight.

The 2012 Daytona 200-winning Project 1 Atlanta team has folded after unable to secure funding for the rest of the season. Project 1 Atlanta, and racer Joey Pascarella, stunned AMA Pro Racing fans with a Cinderella story victory at the Daytona 200.

FIM Eases WSBK Homologation Requirements

With the 2014 World Superbike Championship now under way, the International Motorcycling Federation (FIM) announced a change in the homologation procedure for new motorcycles entering the series. The new regulations requires a minimum of 125 units produced in order to begin the homologation process. By the end of the first year of participation, manufacturers must have produced 250 units.
