Reluctantly selling my 1997 Buell S1 lightning, (true mileage of 3884) This black beauty runs super great, fresh carb rebuild, brand new front, rear tires, new battery all this summer, this bike is a really great all around bike, it really likes the back twisty roads, it eats them up, it ever misses a beat. look at the photos, it a clean bike but keep in mind its a 1997. so there are rub mark here or there some light rust on a bolt, some break dust build up on the swing arm. Im hoping a buell follower sees this ad, I will be honest I bought this bike hoping to get back into thrill of riding, well the thrills there big time with this bike, but my old beat up body and joints are not seeing it, Im only looking to break even on the bike, just want to get this bike to a person that knows the buell model that will ride it the way it needs to be rode. you can message me, Ill get back to you once home from work 7a-5pm m-f (massachusetts)

Erik Buell Racing has released the second part in a series of videos about its 1190RS superbike. Dubbed “Fingertips”, the latest episode examines the RS’s agility, with AMA racer Geoff May comparing the 1190cc motorcycle’s handling to a bike with half the displacement. The series has been interesting so far, though it could probably be better if they toned down the video effects and didn’t edit the dialogue into a series of short sound bites.
