Buell Firebolt description

Selling my beloved Buell XB12R. 2010 is the most advanced version and final year of production for the Buell XB. This means it comes with the larger (8 piston) front brake caliper, better suspension, ecu, and clear LED tail light. 1203cc Thunderstorm fuel injected v-twin. It has Jardine exhaust (stainless) which gives it a mean Harley sound. K&N air filter, upgraded pegs. It runs/shifts/stops great and is an absolute blast to ride. Never thrashed, over-revved, or tracked. This bike has been cared for and is in good condition overall. Has some light scuffs on plastics and minor chips on fork paint. Gauge cluster lens has small crack (original owner purchased this way). 4 LED upgraded turn signals and billet handlebar ends. Oil and primary fluid changes always performed on time. Brand new Starter (upgraded version with more cranking power) was just installed by San Jacinto HD (new primary gasket, starter gasket, clutch adjustment gasket, and shifter o-ring). New Spark Plugs, New Front and Rear brakes, and brand New OEM battery. Selling because I no longer have the time to enjoy the bike. Ready to hop on and go, just in time for summer! Not looking to trade.

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.

One and Done: Daytona 200 Winning Project 1 Atlanta Folds

Thu, 05 Apr 2012

Apparently winning isn’t enough to pay the bills any more, not even if the victory comes at the storied Daytona 200. The 2012 Daytona 200-winning Project 1 Atlanta team has folded after unable to secure funding for the rest of the season. Project 1 Atlanta, and racer Joey Pascarella, stunned AMA Pro Racing fans with a Cinderella story victory at the Daytona 200.
