Buell Firebolt description

Nice one owner 2007 Buell XB12 Firebolt. All original never down. Always serviced with Mobile 1 Synthetic fluids. Newer NAPA battery w tender cables. 11 1/2 Boots 44 Jacket & chest protector and M helmet included. Full of Torque this tears up the turns. Built with the backing of American Icon Harley Davidson. Buell ended production in 2009. This could be a classic one day. But until then its not a dime a dozen bike. You will get looks and thumbs up. The frame and helmet were signed by Erik himself at a meet. The title is clean clear NJ. The bike is located in my garage in Fort Lauderdale FL. It needs nothing just a new rider. Tue, 19 Feb 2013

Add another to the list of manufacturers committing to the American International Motorcycle Expo, as Erik Buell Racing (EBR) has announced it will be hosting its dealers at the event to be held in October this year. As such, EBR joins an expanding list of motorcycle OEMs participating in AIMExpo, the powersports industry’s first combined trade, consumer and media event in North America. Since introducing its first motorcycle, the EBR 1190RS, in 2011, enthusiasts worldwide have been waiting to see the rest of Erik Buell’s lineup.

Buell Assets Liquidation About to Begin

Mon, 25 Jan 2010

In what is sure to be a painfully long and tortuous process for the former Buell Motorcycle Company (from Eric down to the graveyard shift janitor), the final act of its disassembly will be handled by Grand Rapids, Michigan – based Liquid Asset Partners. In a release from Liquid Assets, the company states the “liquidation sale will start January 28th and run everyday for 30 days until everything is sold. Regardless of cost or loss, millions of dollars worth of equipment and tools will be sold directly on the factory floor.” But don’t think this is just a sell-off of the last few skeletal remains of bikes.

College Pair Build Two-Wheel Clothes Dryer

Tue, 03 Feb 2009

What could be considered this generation’s Harold and Kumar, a pair of Swarthmore College engineering students have designed and built an experimental hydrogen fuel cell-powered “motorcycle.” Sourcing parts from what looks to be an early generation Buell Lightning and the unearthed remnants of Robby the Robot, the duo may have just created the World’s quietest and slowest two-wheeled grant-waster. Constructed with the intent to “evaluate the viability of a hydrogen economy by studying real-world data,” the two-man team says that once the experiment yields the likely results that anyone who uses a hydrogen-powered vehicle is a homo, results predicted by the pair’s Alpha Beta member roommate, they’ll abandon any legitimate research efforts and just use it to follow women that would normally avoid them. “Since it doesn’t make any noise we’ll get a lot closer to the girls before they have a chance to formulate lame excuses to leave,” said the elder of the two.
