The Buell factory is a quite small operation but quite technically advanced, using high-tech testing facilities and computer programs to design, build, and test out their bikes. The two companies are among the top 100 brands in the world, as ranked by brand consultancy firm Interbrand. Apple is #2 on Interbrand’s rankings for top brands of 2012 with a brand value of $76.57 billion, while Harley-Davidson is ranked 96th overall with a value of $3.86 billion.
New EBRs Rolling Down The Assembly Line
Tue, 31 Dec 2013On its Facebook page recently, EBR posted this picture of what are presumably 1190RX models in the first four stations of the assembly line. While maybe not Earth shattering news, it is uplifting to see Erik Buell back in business, with models we can’t wait to ride in the new year. From the photo we can see the 1200cc V-Twin engines in place, with swingarms mounted.
