As born 1995 Buell S2 Thunderbolt. Original Black Sapphire Metallic paint with original hand laid fiberglass bodywork, carbon fiber air intake cover and carbon fiber belt guard. Stock First production year S2's are getting harder and harder to find so if you're looking for a very nice original S2 Thunderbolt with low, low miles as a future collectable this is your bike ! All stock ! Serial number is in the Erik Buell Signature Series range but I don't have any of the original paperwork or the cover plate.
Low, low 8,192 miles. Everything works as it should, original Marchesini wheels with what could be the original Dunlop Sportmax tires. Should plan on a new set of tires. I've tried to post pictures of all areas of this classic but let me know if you'd like any additional pictures. 1995 was the first year of Buell production under Harley-Davidson ownership so there are a lot of parts on this bike that are interchangeable with a 1200 cc Sportster including most of the maintenance items on the engine, transmission and clutch. Many aftermarket suppliers as well so no issues with getting parts. There is also an active online community, search on badweatherbikers, this site has every question you have already answered. Lots of suggestions for parts suppliers too. Bike starts up, runs and rides excellent. Body work has some chips and scratches consistent with a 21 year old motorcycle that's been ridden. Muffler showing some surface corrosion but is very solid. All the electronic accessories work as expected. I have a YouTube video posted of the bike running search on "1995 Buell S2 for sale SW Chicago Area July 2016". Sale includes tank bra and Buell tank bag shown on bike in video, nothing else is included. This classic and collectable Buell is being sold AS-IS with NO Warranty, written or implied. 2015 Hero HX250R – The Indian Sportbike Developed by Erik Buell
Wed, 29 Jan 2014Indian manufacturer Hero MotoCorp revealed a new 249cc sportbike developed with the help of Erik Buell Racing. Hero is calling the HX250R for now, though the name may change before it enters production in the second half of the year. Whatever the name, the HX250R will be Hero’s flagship model and the company’s weapon against former business partner Honda and its CBR250R.
Cory West To Race EBR 1190RX At Sonoma Round Of Superbike Shootout
Thu, 01 May 2014Erik Buell Racing (EBR) has announced it will partner with K&L Supply to enter the #13 EBR 1190 with Cory West in the Sonoma round of the Superbike Shootout series this coming weekend, May 3-4. “EBR is very excited with this new opportunity to run the EBR 1190 in front of the race fans. We had commitments that made it impossible to attend the first Superbike Shootout round in Fontana, but with K&L Supply adding their support we were able to make a rush trip from our test in Louisiana last weekend to the beautiful Sonoma Raceway track in Sonoma, California,” announced Erik Buell, founder of EBR.
2015 Hero Hastur 620cc Streetfighter Concept Revealed – Video
Wed, 05 Feb 2014Hero Motocorp has revealed a new 620cc streetfighter concept called the Hastur at the 2014 Indian Auto Expo in Greater Noida, near New Delhi. The Hero Hastur concept was developed with the help of Erik Buell Racing which provided its expertise in working with larger engines than Hero’s usual small-displacement motorcycles. The Hastur is powered by a parallel twin 620cc engine claiming 78.9 hp at 8000 rpm and 53.1 ft-lb.
