2006 Buell Ulysses XB12X, For sale is my 2006 (purchased late 2005) Buell Ulysses XB12X. I am the original owner and have been very pleased with this bike. I'm selling because I simply have not had the time to ride it and am preparing to move to a location not suitable for motorcycles. I hate to let go of it but I'd rather it have a good home instead of collecting dust! There is nothing mechanically wrong with the bike that I can note but probably could use an oil change since I haven't even ridden it this year. Bike is sold in as-is condition. 2014 EBR Motorcycles 1190RX Preview
Wed, 16 Oct 2013Erik Buell throws another punch at the sportbike market with the impressive new 1190RX revealed today at the inaugural AIMExpo in Orlando, Florida. Although based on the existing low-production 1190RS, EBR reps claim there are 426 new parts on the RX. Highlights include full-color TFT instrumentation, a 21-level traction-control system and an LED headlight.
2013 LA Calendar Motorcycle Show Report
Mon, 22 Jul 2013The 22nd edition of the annual LA Calendar Motorcycle Show marked its return to the Queen Mary Seawalk Village in Long Beach, California with hometown boy Sam Baldi taking the Bike Building Championship’s Best of Show trophy with a Jimmy Todorovith/Profile Cycles built Big Twin custom named “Lost Angel.” This year’s Calendar Show showcased not only top builders but selected vendors and exhibitors, and of course the Calendar Girl Music live performances. And as always, this year’s show celebrated the world premiere of the 2014 FastDates.com Motorcycle PinUp Calendars, featuring the world’s top SBK World Superbikes, sport and cafe bikes, and custom motorcycles with the beautiful Calendar Kittens. Tue, 03 Feb 2009What could be considered this generation’s Harold and Kumar, a pair of Swarthmore College engineering students have designed and built an experimental hydrogen fuel cell-powered “motorcycle.” Sourcing parts from what looks to be an early generation Buell Lightning and the unearthed remnants of Robby the Robot, the duo may have just created the World’s quietest and slowest two-wheeled grant-waster. Constructed with the intent to “evaluate the viability of a hydrogen economy by studying real-world data,” the two-man team says that once the experiment yields the likely results that anyone who uses a hydrogen-powered vehicle is a homo, results predicted by the pair’s Alpha Beta member roommate, they’ll abandon any legitimate research efforts and just use it to follow women that would normally avoid them. “Since it doesn’t make any noise we’ll get a lot closer to the girls before they have a chance to formulate lame excuses to leave,” said the elder of the two.
