I bought this bike brand new in 2009 from a Hals in New Berlin WI.  Bike has only 294 original adult driven miles.  Bike is in perfect condition and has never been laid down or any kind of accident. Hero MotorCorp Buys Half of Erik Buell Racing

According to a press release from Hero MotorCorp, the U.S. arm of Hero, HMCL (NA), has agreed to purchase 49.2% of Erik Buell Racing for $25 million. HMCL (NA) is said to have transferred $15 million to EBR with the remaining $10 million to be paid within the next nine months. Hero says it will have two members and one observer sitting on the EBR board of directors but Erik Buell will continue as Chairman and CEO of the company.

The 2012 Daytona 200-winning Project 1 Atlanta team has folded after unable to secure funding for the rest of the season. Project 1 Atlanta, and racer Joey Pascarella, stunned AMA Pro Racing fans with a Cinderella story victory at the Daytona 200.

The closing of Buell Motorcycle Company by parent company Harley-Davidson was a major blow to the company’s namesake, Erik Buell. Many lesser men would have accepted defeat and moved on with their lives. Buell is not like most people.
