Buell Firebolt description

Minor wear and tear on this good looking bike! I am the second owner.  Plenty of power for the experienced with a 1203cc engine.  I have the title in hand.  Buell (in a joint venture with Harley-Davidson) stopped making these bikes in 2009 but Harley services them, so no problems finding a mechanic, if needed. I'm selling because I want to buy a new boat....FUN BIKE TO RIDE, and gets A LOT of looks! Main pic of bike is one I got from the internet and the other two pics are of ACTUAL bike.....You just have to see this bike. Worth every penny.

People seem to be emailing me with concern to salvage title. This bike was wrecked by previous owner and rebuilt with all Buell parts. You will not find any defects other than normal wear and tear. Blue book value for this bike is over $6000.00, but I've lowered price because of the salvage title, even though you wouldn't be able to tell it was in a wreck. It runs great, one push start every time, also put in brand new Scorpion battery ($75 value). I'm in no hurry to sell bike and it will eventually sell to one lucky buyer for great price. You snooze you lose..haha ;)

FIM to Revise WSBK Homologation Requirements

Fri, 17 Jan 2014

The International Motorcycling Federation is considering modifying its homologation requirements for the World Superbike Championship following Bimota‘s somewhat surprising plans to re-enter the series. Under current regulations, manufacturers must produce a minimum number of motorcycles for it to be eligible to compete in the production-based WSBK championship. The official regulations currently require a minimum of 125 units produced for an initial homologation inspection, 500 units produced by June 30 of the current year, 1,000 units by the end of the current year and 2,000 units by the end of the following year.
