Buell 1125R description

The bike was built using a Redkneck Chopper frame and a 2000 Buell motor and title. The 1200 cubic inch motor rips on this bike because of the low weight. The bike is a hardtail, but does not beat you up due to the big 280 tire. I bought the bike a few years ago and added the flames and some stealth turn signals. The bike has no speedometer/odometer or gas gauge. Must see to appreciate! It's low and long. I live near Buffalo,NY and welcome any independent inspectors you choose to hire. I just put a new gell battery in this year and it has a hardwired Harley trickled charger built in. Entrepreneur.com, the web presence of Entrepreneur magazine, has a feature article on Erik Buell and his Erik Buell Racing (EBR) company. While the article reveals some lack of knowledge of the two-wheeled world by overusing the term “crotch rocket” as the generic description for sportbikes, this is forgivable considering it’s coming from a publication specializing in small businesses and, well, entrepreneurs, and not motorcycles. The article otherwise does a good job of giving a brief but broad synopsis of Buell and the triumphs and tragedies encountered with BMC (Buell Motorcycle Company) — it’s a good primer on Buell if you’re not fully up to speed on Buell’s life in motorcycles.

Erik Buell Racing Secures $20 Million in Foreign Investments

Erik Buell Racing has received a $20 million injection from investors. The increased funding is expected to expand the company’s product line and create about 200 jobs. The investment comes through the somewhat fittingly-named “EB-5” program, a product of the Immigrant Act of 1990 designed to encourage investment in American companies by potential immigrants.
