BSA Golden Flash description

Up for sale is a remarkable 1954 BSA Golden Flash. Everything can be seen from the attached pictures are BSA factory accessories. A photo copy of the catalog with part numbers will come together with the bike. A few things worth to mention:

- Handle bar riser is added. A cigarette lighter, turn signal switch, and on/off key are on the riser.
- Rocket shape turn signal lights, very seldom can be seen.
- Throttle lock and engine kill switch on handle bar.
- Crash guard.
- Factory cargo rack.
- Factory back seat grab bar with BSA logo.
- Fog lights and turn signal lights.
- External oil filter is added.
- Leather saddle bags.

All accessories are from BSA and from the '50s. It is indeed a good representation of that era.

The bike is ridable except for two things. The carburetor is leaking a bit because the gasket is too old. The wiring harness needs to be worked on to have the accessories working. A British bike mechanic replaced the harness a few year back, but he did not connect everything. Last time it was used was in 2011. It is in non-op since. The oil is also drained.

I can start the bike if someone has interest to see it in person. I am in Cupertino, California.
