FOR SALE IS A 1967 R69S BMW BIKE. TAG, FRAME AND BLOCK HAVE THE SAME NUMBER. BIKE HAS BEEN STORED FOR A NUMBER OF YEARS APART. CRANK TURNS FREELY. 1 VALVE COVER AND 1 INTAKE TUBE WERE LOST IN MOVING, AND YOU WILL NEED SOME NUTS AND BOLTS AND OTHER PARTS, BUT THE MAIN COMPONETS ARE THERE.  PLEASE LOOK AT THE PICTURES AND ASK QUESTIONS. I CAN ANSWER QUESTIONS AND TAKE OFFERS AT 2039298797. THE LOOSE PARTS WILL BE BOXED UP FOR SHIPPING. EVERYTHING PICTURED IS WHAT GOES WITH THE BIKE. IF YOU DON'T SEE IT THERE YOU WILL NOT GET ONE. THE CYLINDERS ARE 73MM AND LOOK LIKE THEY WERE HONED FOR NEW PISTONS(NOT INCLUDED). I HAVE THE TITLE IN HAND. THE TANK IS  IN VERY NICE SHAPE, NO DENTS WITH GOOD LINING INSIDE. SPANISH motorcycle accessory expert Puig has launched a new high-performance screen for the BMW S1000RR superbike.The new dome Z-Racing is made from acrylic 3mm plastic, offering good flexibility and high resistance to impacts and scratches, says Puig.The Z-Racing has been tested in a wind tunnel and now gives a claimed 12 per cent aerodynamic improvement over the original screen.The Z-Racing does not require any modification for installation and can be fitted using the original screws.The screen's priced at 68.3 euros (£61) excluding shipping and import duty.You can find more information by visiting Puig.tv

BMW Reports 14% Sales Increase in US in 2012

BMW reported sales of 12,057 motorcycles in the U.S. in 2012, representing a 14.0% increase on the 10,572 units sold in 2011. Leading the way was the S1000RR, with BMW selling 1,934 of the sportbikes this year.

John Surtees to Lead Classic Vehicle Parade Fundraiser

Motorsports legend John Surtees will lead a parade of classic cars and motorcycles – including Surtees’ 1960 500cc Grand Prix Championship-winning MV Agusta – in his home town of Edenbridge, England. Surtees is the only person to have ever won world championships in both Grand Prix motorcycle racing and Formula One, and the parade will feature cars and bikes from his time as both a racer and a racing team owner. Surtees himself will drive the Team Surtees TS7, a F1 car constructed by his own team that debuted at the 1970 British Grand Prix at Brands Hatch.
