This bike is relisted do to the buyer not been able to complete the transaction. '05 R1200GS. This is a rare non ABS model, which means, no servo assist brakes or ABS unit going out. The bike comes equipped with heated hand grips, Touratech hand guards, adventure windshield, adventure wind wings, crash guards, PIAA lights, accessory socket and vario expandable side cases, keyed to the ignition. Owners manual with service records. The bike was just serviced, tires have about 50% tread. There are no issues of any kind. I am the second owner, with clear title in hand. Please don't bid if you don't intend to follow through with the transaction. Not a pleasant experience for buyer or seller. I will gladly help coordinate shipping on my end, but shipping arrangements are buyers responsibility.

US Motorcycle Sales First Half 2011 Results
Thu, 28 Jul 2011The U.S. motorcycle industry saw a 4.6% decrease in year-on-year sales over the first six months of 2011, thanks mostly to a 17.3% drop in ATV sales. Motorcycle and scooter sales however saw a 1.7% bump in the first half .
BMW Announces Record First Quarter 2012
Tue, 10 Apr 2012BMW announced it set a new record for first quarter motorcycle sales, surpassing the previous record by 5.5%. The German manufacturer sold 24,373 motorcycles in the first three months of 2012, outdoing the previous record of 23,109 units set last year. March accounted for more than half of BMW‘s first quarter sales, with customers scooping up 12,295 units over the month, up 5.3% from 11,675 units sold in March 2011.
