BMW R-Series description

2001 r1100rt with about 55,000 miles but I'm still riding.  Bike is in excellent shape and mechanically it works flawlessly.  The bike has Pia lights, gps, rear Hyper lights with led brake and blinker assist and comes with 2 windshields and 2 seats.  (stock and BMW comfort seat)  Email if you want more pics.  Bike has been garaged.  I have changed the oil, all other work performed by BMW.

BMW Acquires Original Factory

BMW has acquired a 3.2-acre parcel of land that includes the company’s original factory. Built in 1918, the historic site in the Milbertshofen district of Munich, Germany, housed BMW’s original aircraft engine production plant. The company says the land will become the new home for BMW Group Classic, a subsidiary that documents BMW’s past.

2006-2009 BMW F800ST and F800S Recalled in Canada

Transport Canada announced a recall for the BMW F800S and F800ST from model years 2006-2009 because of a problem with the rear wheel. At the moment, the recall has only been confirmed for Canada; we will provide an update if a recall for the U.S. is announced by the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration.

Spotted at this year's Motorcycle Live. The 'net is awash with gold-wrapped and horrendously painted supercars, often sporting Middle-Eastern numberplates but this S1000RR isn't an Arab creation. Nope, it's a one-off paintjob by BMW for the 2012 Olympics, where BMW supplied cars and bikes to ferry around VIPs.
