Of the 11,317 sold, this may be the most pristine one left. This Best of Show award winner will turn heads wherever it goes. With only 3 owners in nearly 50 years (original owner, his son, and me), this bike has been meticulously maintained by all 3 owners. After recently retiring, it is time to trade in my Bavarian beauty for something with an electric start. The bike has 26,742 miles, believed to be original, and runs well. Everything is original on the bike except the paint. The previous owners painted the bike so it is not the original BMW white. Numbers match on frame and motor. The bike kicks within 2 – 3 kicks and, with new carbs mounted in 2006, runs smoothly. Tires have 80% tread on them and the bike rides straight without pulling. BMW R90/6 w/Dneper sidecar (1974)
1974 BMW R90/6 with Dneper sidecar - Recently tuned and replaced alternator rotor and battery. Customer is getting on in years and just doesn't ride enough to keep it. This is a very nice older rig we built about 10 years ago. The odometer doesn't work, but we have kept track of the mileage. It is approximately 54,000. Oil has been changed regularly and tune ups about every 1 1/2 years. The triple trees have been upgraded to Perry's sidecar triple tree. It has a steering dampner from bike to sidecar. This rig is ready to go just about anywhere. If you are local, or you want to fly in from out of State and have not driven a sidecar rig before, we will give you sidecar lessons.
