1983 BMW R100 (1983)
This motorcycle needs to used. I have owned it 1988. It came from “Cue” at House of Triumph in Elmsford NY with 68,000 miles on the clock.. It has always been my second bike, lightly used and garaged. Weekend rides have added about 6000 miles. It now shows just over 74,000 miles. In the fall of 2011 it underwent substantial mechanical restoration at Max BMW (Brookfield Ct) which included rebuilding carburetors, draining and cleaning fuel tank, new brake pads and rotors at the front and new brake shoes at the rear, new center stand, air filters, new throttle and choke cables, new horns, new fluids (fork, brakes, new top-end seals. Total investment was $5100. It has a fork brace, café faring, original grips, lots of tread on Metzler tires. “Easy Clutch” is installed. (http://www.benchmarkworks.com/articles/howto/clutch.html ). 2002 R1150r JetBlack Roadster/Rockster (2001)
This bike is like brand new and is hard to find in pristine condition with low miles. Of course, you will find a few minor blemishes and nicks here and there due to normal riding. I tried to show those in the pics. Clean title, single-owner. This bike does NOT have ABS brakes. Has always been stored indoors. Has heated grips for when the weather gets colder. Everything is absolutely up to date and bike is running perfectly except for the front tire. You may get just a few hundred miles left unless you ride in the rain (I never did), then I would replace it ASAP. Hard to imagine a better bike. Sadly, the bike fell over once in my garage. Replaced left kick stand, brake handle and shifter. That was a sad day. Bike has had all its scheduled services done at a BMW licensed dealer/mechanic and is in absolutely perfect working order. 1995 bmw r1100gs in excellent conditions road ready very nice (1995)
This is a 1995 BMW R 1100GS motorcycle. This bike was a new motorcycle trade in, I am a wholesale dealer. This is one of the true multipurpose bikes that is available today. It can cruise at 70 plus or ride the fire roads under most conditions. This bike appears to never been in any severe off road excursions as there is no rust or corrosion on the bike. Everything works. The pipes are not rusted and the wheels are excellent. The tires are 50%. The bike has hard bags and a rear luggage carrier. There is a headlight guard and a windscreen. The battery has just been replaced by the local bmw dealer so the bike is ready to go. The paint is excellent with just a few very minor marks on the bike. Up for sale we have a rear harder to find 2004 BMW R1200C Montauk. We are a BMW motorcycle dealership & we acquired this motorcycle in trade recently from a store client of ours. The features on this BMW include heated grips, and ABS Brakes. This 1200cc BMW motorcycle is in very good condition both mechanically & cosmetically. There is some pitting visible on the front fender & some rust on the edge of the gas cap (see close up images). My wife is in the Screen Actors Guild and works in movies, so the "Milk" production people knew about this bike and rented it for use in the movie. It's the bike in the movie (sequence beginning at about 118 minutes into it) that James Franco uses to pick up Sean Penn (playing the role of Harvey Milk) at the camera shop and take him to the nighttime rally at San Francisco City Hall, where Penn (as shown in image sequence) hops off and goes to make his speech.
