    This bike is like brand new and is hard to find in pristine condition with low miles.   Of course, you will find a few minor blemishes and nicks here and there due to normal riding.  I tried to show those in the pics.  Clean title, single-owner.   This bike does NOT have ABS brakes. Has always been stored indoors. Has heated grips for when the weather gets colder.   Everything is absolutely up to date and bike is running perfectly except for the front tire.  You may get just  a few hundred miles left unless you ride in the rain (I never did), then I would replace it ASAP.   Hard to imagine a better bike.   Sadly, the bike fell over once in my garage.  Replaced left kick stand, brake handle and shifter.  That was a sad day.   Bike has had all its scheduled services done at a BMW licensed dealer/mechanic and is in absolutely perfect working order.  I have all the maintenance receipts.  The bike only required one repair to the fuel line quick-disconnects.  They were replaced by me.

    Cleaning out the garage - I'm downsizing to a condominium and the bikes have to go.  I am the 2nd owner of this bike which I bought in 2004 from a private party with 4K miles on it.  I added the BMW right & left system cases and wider & taller windscreen from Wunderlich.  It has normal wear & tear but no damage (never been down) and everything works as it should.  It's due for new tires (last new set went on 7K miles ago); still some tread there but I did have to plug a hole in the rear recently so it's a good idea to replace both.  Bike may have a few more miles on it when you get it as it is my daily driver to and from work weather permitting (~12 miles round  trip).   On Sep-18-13 at 01:59:50 PDT, seller added the following information: This bike is equipped with ABS brakes.

     Up for sale we have a rear harder to find 2004 BMW R1200C Montauk.  We are a BMW motorcycle dealership & we acquired this motorcycle in trade recently from a store client of ours.  The features on this BMW include heated grips, and ABS Brakes.  This 1200cc BMW motorcycle is in very good condition both mechanically & cosmetically.  There is some pitting visible on the front fender & some rust on the edge of the gas cap (see close up images).  There is also some minor scratches visible throughout the motorcycle, and the left rear turn signal has been repaired.  Otherwise, there is only normal wear on the hand grips & rest of motorcycle. The future generation of the "1-liter" naked BMW S1000R was spotted during the development tests on the territory of the German racing "ring" Oschersleben. Apparently, the Bavarian streetfighter will receive a number of technical solutions that his older brother, the BMW S1000RR, was endowed with a couple of years ago. Just as the current generation of the SR was created on the base of the previous SR-era, the 2017 modification will actually become a stripped version of today's sportbike.
