This is a 1995 BMW R 1100GS motorcycle. This bike was a new motorcycle trade in, I am a wholesale dealer. This is one of the true multipurpose bikes that is available today. It can cruise at 70 plus or ride the fire roads under most conditions. This bike appears to never been in any severe off road excursions as there is no rust or corrosion on the bike. Everything works. The pipes are not rusted and the wheels are excellent. The tires are 50%. The bike has hard bags and a rear luggage carrier. There is a headlight guard and a windscreen. The battery has just been replaced by the local bmw dealer so the bike is ready to go. The paint is excellent with just a few very minor marks on the bike. This bike is like brand new and is hard to find in pristine condition with low miles. Of course, you will find a few minor blemishes and nicks here and there due to normal riding. I tried to show those in the pics. Clean title, single-owner. This bike does NOT have ABS brakes. Has always been stored indoors. Has heated grips for when the weather gets colder. Everything is absolutely up to date and bike is running perfectly except for the front tire. You may get just a few hundred miles left unless you ride in the rain (I never did), then I would replace it ASAP. Hard to imagine a better bike. Sadly, the bike fell over once in my garage. Replaced left kick stand, brake handle and shifter. That was a sad day. Bike has had all its scheduled services done at a BMW licensed dealer/mechanic and is in absolutely perfect working order. I have all the maintenance receipts. The bike only required one repair to the fuel line quick-disconnects. They were replaced by me.

Olivier de Vaulx, a long-time collaborator with our friends over at Upshift Magazine as well as many other international publications, has launched a project of his own on Kickstarter this week: A 200-page photo book that compiles 10 years of riding in the most remote places of the West.
