2004 BMW R-Series (2004)
Up for auction is my 2004 BMW R1200 CL. I purchased this bike in 2005 from the BMW dealer in OKC and am the second owner. I put less than 1000 miles on it and put it in storage along with other bikes and cars. I recently sold my storage facility and am selling my bikes and one of the cars. The R1200 CL was BMW's ill fated attempt to capture the Harley cruiser market and as they soon discovered, Harley riders just don't buy BMWs. As a result there are not many of these bikes around making them very rare indeed. It's a shame though because what a bike! It runs down the road with the best of them and that unmistakable oil head purr! The bike is a traveler's dream with AM/FM/CD, electronic cruise control, heated grips and seat, cruise control and plenty of storage for everything you could need for a week long excursion. The tool kit is complete along with the original owners manual and various supplements. Everything works as it should with the exception of the latch on the left side baggage compartment which does not engage with the handle mechanism. There is a faint and small scratch on the left side baggage compartment just under the locking mechanism. So not only is the R1200CL a rare bike, this is one of a handful with less than 7,000 miles! Thank you for looking and please don't hesitate to ask any questions you might have.2016-08-19 04:52:34Wichita, Kansas, United States632000 -
2000 BMW R1100RT (2000)
This RT has some wear and tear on it, but runs well and sound good. It should have quite a few miles left in it. It has a Remus muffler. The right mirror needs replaced. There are chips in the fairing and fender paint. The ABS light will not go out and it appears the ABS is nonfunctional. The windshield raises and lowers. It comes with saddlebags. It looks like a Russell seat has been added. Starting this auction low and reserve is reasonable for the condition of the bike. A Kansas buyer is responsible for Kansas sales tax. A $500 deposit is required within 48 hours by PayPal and full payment is required within 7 days of auction end by cash, wire transfer or Cashiers Check.2013-10-23 00:33:10Wichita, Kansas, US162,000999.00 -

Limited Edition Vespa 946 Snake Celebrates Lunar New Year
Fri, 17 Jan 2025Vespa probably isn’t the brand you’d think would be celebrating the Lunar New Year and honoring the Chinese zodiac, but for the third year in a row, the Italian brand has done just that with a limited edition 946 scooter. The 2025 Vespa 946 Snake comes after last year’s 946 Dragon and 2023’s 946 Bunny as the third entry in the brand’s Lunar Collection. We can probably expect the collection to expand over the next decade to complete the Chinese zodiac’s 12 animals, with a Horse-themed model for 2026.The 946 Dragon came in a muted golden color with a bold green dragon graphic on the front shield, while the 2023 946 Bunny had a more playful look, with a lime green color and a cartoon rabbit on the shield.

2025 Harley-Davidson Carry-Over Models Announced
Fri, 03 Jan 2025What Harley announced… and what it didn’t Harley-Davidson announced its first batch of models returning for 2025 (well, technically second batch, if you include the returning police bikes confirmed in December, so, let’s say the first batch of consumer models). As usual, the first bikes to be announced are carry-over models, those returning with new color options and pricing adjustments, but no significant mechanical changes. These include the Road Glide, Street Glide, and Road King Special baggers, plus the Road Glide 3, Freewheeler, and Tri Glide Ultra trikes.

2025 Harley-Davidson FLHXU Confirmed: Enter the Street Glide Ultra?
Tue, 24 Dec 2024Harley-Davidson has been pretty tight-lipped about its 2025 model lineup so far, but Motorcycle.com can confirm that it will include at least one new touring model designated “FLHXU”. Considering the Street Glide is the FLHX, it’s a safe bet that the new model will be a Street Glide Ultra, which somehow has never actually existed before. For those unfamiliar with Harley-Davidson nomenclature, Ultras are Harley-Davidson’s big-rig touring models, typically equipped with fairing lowers, a Tour-Pak combination topcase and passenger backrest, plus other amenities for racking up miles in comfort.
Best Naked Motorcycle of 2024: KTM 1390 Super Duke
Fri, 20 Dec 2024The 1290 Super Duke was already a ridiculous motorcycle with the amount of power it had, all wrapped up in a fairing-less package. I thought we had reached peak levels of power, torque, and displacement – especially in naked bikes – and the industry would shift its attention towards electronics to make it all manageable. But then KTM went and threw the playbook out the window with this, the 1390 Super Duke.

Motorcycle.com Best of 2024
Wed, 11 Dec 2024Welcome to December, which means that ordinarily, this is where one of us blathers on about how the last 11+ months have flown by too quickly. But this year was a little special, as MO is celebrating its 30th anniversary. That’s pretty crazy, when you think about it.
