1980 BMW R65 600cc Out of a 50 bike collection. Owned by Marshall Binkley (exRacer Collectors) Estate. Only BMW in the collection. The real deal, raced and campaigned by Binkley in the early 80's. This came out of his estate collection many ears ago. Has good compression, super low miles (~15000), would take very little to get running. A true privateer track racer for the early 80's. Still set-up for racing with street lights. Performance carburetors, tuned header, more. Very cool. Have an original Rickman Fairing & Seat for this bike. Michael Dunlop to Race for BMW at 2014 Isle of Man TT
Wed, 12 Feb 2014BMW Motorrad UK has signed seven-time winner Michael Dunlop to race in the 2014 Isle of Man TT and other international road races. Dunlop will be the first factory-backed BMW rider in 50 years, and will try to be the first rider to win a TT race on a BMW since Georg Meier won in 1939 on a RS 255 Kompressor. Dunlop, nephew of the great Joey Dunlop, was the star of the 2013 Isle of Man TT, winning four races and finishing second in the Senior TT on Honda machines.

Tue, 22 Oct 2024A step up from the Tiger Sport 660 Triumph announced an all-new Tiger Sport 800, a sport-touring model that offers a step up from the Tiger Sport 660, without quite crossing over to the adventure-touring side of the spectrum where the similiarly-named Tiger 850 Sport lies. Visually, the Tiger Sport 800 looks much like the 660. The front fairing, front fender and fuel tank covers are nigh identical, apart from the large “800” graphics.
