1980 BMW R65 600cc Out of a 50 bike collection. Owned by Marshall Binkley (exRacer Collectors) Estate. Only BMW in the collection. The real deal, raced and campaigned by Binkley in the early 80's. This came out of his estate collection many ears ago. Has good compression, super low miles (~15000), would take very little to get running. A true privateer track racer for the early 80's. Still set-up for racing with street lights. Performance carburetors, tuned header, more. Very cool. Have an original Rickman Fairing & Seat for this bike. BMW Reports Q1 2012 Results
Thu, 03 May 2012We already know BMW started 2012 off with a record first quarter with 24,373 motorcycles sold, with an additional 2,642 units from its Husqvarna subsidiary. BMW‘s quarterly report now reveals the U.S. accounted for 3,429 units sold in the first three months of the year, a 47.9% increase from 2,319 units over the same quarter of 2011.

Wed, 05 Aug 2009BMW have taken a rapid step in the right direction, what with their K1300S, S1000RR and F800R. Recently rumours have been flying around that BMW are to produce a scooter, possibly a hybrid. And while we know it's well within their means, we'd rather they concentrated on the sharpening the cutting edge of road bikes.
My S1000RR has stopped but it's only a broken chain.
Thu, 15 Sep 2011I know there has been a lack of blogging on my S1000RR recently and that’s because it’s broken, but only a little bit. On July 18th I was at Silverstone looking after some Bahnstormer BMW customers, when late in the afternoon something hit me on the back as I was charging down the Wellington Straight. At that precise moment I also thought I had hit a false neutral but it turns out the chain had snapped.
