BMW R-Series tech info

BMW R-Series description
I bought this R1200GSA brand new in April, and have yet to really put any miles on it. It may have a few more miles on it by the time the auction ends, but it will be less than 100. I bought 3 bikes, and I just haven't ridden this one. It's a great bike, loaded with options, and is brand new. I have a free and clear title. No stories and no excuses.
It's the matte red and silver Adventure model. I have added the BMW Navigator as well, and that is included in the sale. It has the premium package and the keyless ignition (just like the key fob you keep in your pocket for your car). This is great bike, but I end up riding my cruiser or driving my convertible. I just acquired a '69 Chevelle for my collection, and I need the room, so this one needs to go. You would pay about $25,000 retail for this bike, so save yourself several thousand dollars and buy a barely used one! It does have the 3 year/unlimited mileage warranty, and I added the extended warranty (i think its 5 years unlimited mileage). I'm sure there is a nominal fee to transfer it, but that goes with the bike as well (buyer is responsible for the transfer fee and paperwork). It has the ESA Suspension (Dynamic, Road, Enduro) and ABS, which can be turned off for riding in the dirt. Other than the side and top cases, I believe this has all the options on a GSA. It's a stunning bike, runs great. I've owned 4 of these bikes, and a new RT, and this "WasserBoxer", or liquid cool boxer motor is fantastic! I'll probably regret selling it, so buy it early before I change my mind. This bike is listed locally, and I do reserve the right to cancel the auction if it sells. Let me know if you have any questions, and bid to own. Great bike, stored inside, never down or dropped, and thousands below new. Deposit due within 24 hours, and balance in 5 days. Cash or certified funds that must clear before the bike leaves my possession. I'll work with your shipper, but you are responsible for setting up shipping. |

WSBK 2013: Assen Race Report
Mon, 29 Apr 2013Tom Sykes earned his first win of the 2013 season and came a hair short of a double victory at the World Superbike Championship round at Assen in the Netherlands. Traditionally a fast starter and qualifier, Sykes started on the pole once again at Assen and had strong starts in both races. But unlike the first two rounds where he started strong before fading, the Kawasaki factory rider was able to remain at the front in both races at Assen and earn some valuable championship points.
