For sale 2015 BMW S1000R. This bike comes with 5K miles. This bike is fully loaded and comes with all standard options that are available for this year and model. This bike is adult ridden, and well taking cared of.
This bike was purchased from insurance company therefore carries salvage title. It is registrable in all 50 states. Please check with your local DMV how to register salvage vehicle. Over all it is not complicated process and usually takes HWY state patrol to check vin #'s and receipts for the replacement parts. This bike was purchased in damaged condition and I am including picture at the time of purchase nothing serious no frame or engine damage. Gas tank had a dent and side fairing has some scratches. Gas tank and fairings were professionally repainted along with a front fender. I rode this bike personally to insure proper working condition of this unit rides great no issues whatsoever. 2013 BMW C600 Sport Fairing Recall Extended to US
Mon, 10 Dec 2012Last week, Transport Canada issued a recall on the 2013 BMW C600 Sport due to a risk of the scooter’s side fairings coming loose at high speeds. The recall has now reached the U.S., with the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration also announcing a recall. According to documents released by NHTSA, the three “snap-lock” fasteners securing the left and right side trim panels may not have sufficient strength to hold the fairing in place at speeds higher than 100 mph.
BMW C650GT Recalled in Canada for Loose Luggage Rack Fasteners
Mon, 27 May 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2013 BMW C650GT scooter because of a problem with its accessory luggage rack mounting. On certain units, the fasteners which secure the luggage rack to the rear of the passenger grab rail may loosen over time. This may lead to the rack, and any cases attached to it, to fall off, potentially striking other vehicles, pedestrians or other objects.

BMW claims a peak output of 158 hp at 11000 rpm, compared to the S1000RR’s 193 hp claims.
