BMW R-Series description

Pretty much brand new! Bought new in 2012, only has 631 miles on it. Has been in the garage since September of 2012. Includes original 2 keys, manuals, and windshield. Has the remaining of the 3 year factory warranty.

The metallic red was a special edition paint for the R1200r ONLY done for 2012.
MSRP price at time of purchase was $15,070 (Still have original MSRP sticker)
-Heated Grips
-On board computer
-ABS and ASC (Traction Control)
-1170cc, 110hp boxer engine

It is not being ridden currently so miles will not change. It can be taken out of storage and started up for viewing purposes for those who are serious about purchasing it.
The only scratch on it is at the bottom of the valve cover where it rubbed against things in the garage as it was going in and out. Never wrecked or dropped, clear title with lien on it.

Did not get a chance to ride this summer which is why I am listing it.

Please BMW: don't build this

Wed, 05 Aug 2009

BMW have taken a rapid step in the right direction, what with their K1300S, S1000RR and F800R. Recently rumours have been flying around that BMW are to produce a scooter, possibly a hybrid. And while we know it's well within their means, we'd rather they concentrated on the sharpening the cutting edge of road bikes.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
