BMW R-Series description

Selling my 2012 BMW R1200GS Adventure. I think the bike is in excellent condition and I have high standards! I have owned it for ~3 years. I bought it from Cross County BMW and it was my second GS. Great bikes. Selling because it doesn't get much ride time as you will see in the details below. So here we go:
  • 2012 BMW R1200GS Adventure w/9,088 miles.
  • I am pretty sure the bikes has every available OEM options. This includes
    • ABS
    • ESA
    • Multiple Susupension options (one up, tow up, sport, touring, etc etc)
    • Heated grips
    • Chrome exhaust
    • enduro transmission
    • full bags keyed to the ingnition
    • Heavy duty skid plate
  • Other extras
    • TT fuel rail guards
    • TT potentionmeter guard
    • TT rear brake reserv
    • TT exhaust flap guard
    • Mud Sling tire guard
    • TT larger kickstand foot
    • MRA Windshield X-Creen
    • Wunderlich oil filler cover
    • New front and rear Michelin Pilot Road Trail tires - less than 500 miles on them
    • New never installed rear Heindenau Scout K60 Rear tire (I never bought the front)
The only flaw on the bike is a small drill hole in the left side upper tank cover. You could buy a replacement panel if you wanted. The previous owner must have had a ram ball installed or something. I pointed it out in one of the pics. Since I could only add 12 pics - here is a link to 31 additional pictures

The GPS and GPS Mount are not included - I have other bikes setup for this device so want to keep it.

I am about 15 miles west of NYC in New Jersey. The bike is paid off and I should have the title from BMW Monday 7/25. Last one I sold went to a guy from Miami. We made a deal and he flew up the next morning with his jacket, helmet and a bunch of money. I met him at the airport he inspected the bike we swapped money for the title & bike. He got on the bike jumped on I95 and back to Miami he went. Had to share that story!

Let me know what questions you have and happy to help with shipping if you pay at time of auction end, deal with all arrangements and costs and can guarantee pickup within 5 days of auction end.

2010 BMW S1000RR – First Ride

Fri, 20 Nov 2009

UPDATE:  Full Review now on Motorcycle.com (with video) We just spent the day ripping it up around the fabulous Portimao race circuit in Portugal on BMW’s new S1000RR supersport literbike, and it’s set to blow away perceptions of what a BMW motorcycle is. With 193 crankshaft horsepower and a claimed dry weight of 404 pounds, BMW says the S1000RR has the best power-to-weight ratio of any production bike. And, by the way the S1000 lofts its front wheel onto Portimao’s front straight at 150 mph, we’re becoming believers!
