BMW R-Series description
This is one of the many 2009 BMW R1200RT-P's that Capitol BMW has available. Some are original single seat set ups and some have been converted back to civilian two person capacity. These bike have all been serviced per BMW recommendations per their lease agreements; so they are ready to go and need nothing. Some even have brand new tires ! 2014 BMW US Prices Released – R nineT Only $800 More Expensive than R1200R
Tue, 28 Jan 2014If you’ve been considering a new BMW motorcycle this year, then you must be eagerly awaiting the German manufacturer to release its 2014 prices. Now that your Christmas bills are paid off (at least, you would hope), you can start budgeting for your new Beemer, now that BMW Motorrad USA has released pricing information for the five newest models to its lineup, the R nineT, S1000R, R1200GS Adventure, K1600GTL Exclusive and R1200RT. Perhaps the most welcome news is the R nineT’s pricing at $14,900, making it just $800 more expensive than the R1200R‘s $14,100 price tag.
European Motorcycle Market Down 38% Since 2006
Wed, 25 Jan 2012New motorcycle registrations in Europe decreased 8.9% in 2011, reaching its lowest level in a decade. And with the state of the economy in Europe, things might get worse. According to provisional numbers released by the European Association of Motorcycle Manufacturers, Europeans registered 1.72 million motorcycles, scooters and mopeds in 2011, down from 1.89 million registrations in 2010.
2012 BMW S1000RR Engine Recall
Thu, 26 Apr 2012BMW is issuing a recall on the 2012 BMW S1000RR because of a risk of engine failure. According to a post on the official BMW Motorcycles USA Facebook page, the connecting rod bolts may loosen and fall out. This may result cause the engine to seize, creating the risk of a crash.
