BMW R-Series description

As New. Non ABS, much better than ABS and hard to find. Well over $2000 in extras. New tires, Sargent seat $500, Aeroflow windscreen (best) $600, Garmin Zumo 550, $650 new w/ box,Radar dector mount and hard wired for passport or Bel. Kaeko cruise control.  Rear moose under tail bag and BMW tank bag $250, both never used, new battery and battery tender and BMW Panniers X-panding w/ Cee Bailey liners, 8600 mi, Just serviced new oil and valve adjustment. i have over $18k in this and it has the very best of everything you would want for it and ready to ride anywhere. Better than a new one at a super cheap price for what is on it. ABS stinks on these bikes, this is my 3rd one so I know this for a fact ! ABS makes the bike lurch fwd in gravel etc, and wont stop and just has a crappy feel when braking. I will also throw in all stock parts for you to resell, seat shield etc. TPM. No ESA. This is exactly the equipment I wanted on this bike, its lighter and more reliable this way. This bike is Flawless and just like new. Low miles as I have not had time to ride it. I also have a $1100 rding suit I have never used will sell cheap after sell of bike. Please no low-ball offers, i'm already taking a beating on it. Never ridden off road. I have had a 2005 a 2007 and this one, and it is the best one I have owned. Pics do not give it justice , must see. Clear title. No trades, cash only. Selling it cheap and quick. Thanks

Tue, 05 Nov 2013

The R1200RT has gone liquid cooled, inheriting the new boxer engine with BMW’s “precision cooling” technology from the new R1200GS. But that’s not all that’s changed on the RT as Editor-in-Chief Kevin Duke points out in the video below from the 2013 EICMA show floor. With a new K1600GT-inspired look, more power and a number of factory-installed options, one of our favorite touring bikes is better than ever.   Get the Flash Player to see this player.

How To Adjust the Clutch Cable on a Motorcycle

Thu, 17 Oct 2024

It goes by many names: Clutch free play, clutch slack, or clutch tension describes the amount of free movement your motorcycle’s clutch lever has before it begins pulling on the clutch cable itself. Why does that matter? The clutch installed on your bike is a wear item, and as the friction plates within the clutch wear out from countless engagements and disengagements, they become thinner.
