I'm having to part ways with my 2006 RT because I've got a car and because I'm lame so having to pay to have it kept in a parking garage for $300 a month plus $500 for the car so i'm having to give up the bike. Bought from Morton's BMW in Fredericksburg, VA in 2007 with 8500 miles on it, has a total of 62,500 miles now. 75% of miles are highway miles commuting back and forth between New York City and Virginia. Always garaged, serviced by BMW of Manhattan and BMW of Fredericksburg, VA. All service records available upon request. Has scratches on saddlebags that are easily removed and has had a claim filed three years ago when it was blown over in a storm and had to have left side fairings and saddlebags replaced. Never been in a moving drop or in an accident. Bike is extremely comfortable to ride and chews through highway miles in absolute comfort. BMW Launches New National Television Ad Campaign – Video
Fri, 01 Mar 2013BMW Motorrad USA has launched a new national ad campaign, its first in the U.S., according to the company, in over 20 years. The new ad campaign – “Feed Your Restless” – begins today, March 1, and will run more than 1,500 times through June on Velocity, Speed, Fuel TV, the Sportsman Channel, ESPN, ESPNews, the Discovery Channel, the History Channel, and the National Geographic Channel. BMW has produced four commercials for the campaign, three that will run nationally and a fourth for dealers to use for their local markets.
2013 BMW R1200GS Recalled in Canada for Potential Transmission Oil Leak

Pirelli has been confirmed as the Official Tire Supplier for all classes of the eni FIM Superbike World Championship having won the tender organized by Dorna, promoter and organizer of the World Championship, in agreement with the FIM, the International Motorcycling Federation.
