BMW R-Series description

You are bidding on a 2004 BMW R1150R with 37,030 miles since new.  This motorcycle was built to cruise Germany's Autobahns and Americas Freeways at speed all day long and in great comfort!  It has great aerodynamics, which uses the "outboard" airfoil coolers and fuel tank to partially redirect airflow around the rider.  This one also has heated hand grips!  The engine is 1130 cc with dual overhead cams and electronic fuel injection for 85 horse power and 98 ft lbs of torque and built with German craftsmanship to go well over 100,000 miles!  This one has the metal, easily removable luggage bags that makes it ready for the open road.  If you are looking for a great, reliable commuter bike, or a get away from it all, explore the world bike, this is it!  Its a favorite with motorcycle touring companies world wide!  Any questions, call me 949-458-5810  (would consider trades)  Bid often and bid to win it!

WSBK 2013: Aragon Race Report

Mon, 15 Apr 2013

BMW Motorrad Goldbet racer Chaz Davies scored his first career World Superbike double victory, taking both races at Spain’s Aragon circuit. The wins were the second and third of Davies’ WSBK career (the first came last year at Nurburgring for the ParkinGo Aprilia team) and the second ever double in the series for BMW. The Welsh rider and former AMA Pro Racing competitor has had some success at Aragon, getting his first career WSBK podium at the Spanish track in 2012.

Man Sues BMW for Causing Persistent Erection

Fri, 27 Apr 2012

A man is suing BMW and seat-manufacturer Corbin-Pacific because a four-hour motorcycle ride gave him an erection that would not go away. The civil suit, filed in the Superior Court of California in San Francisco, alleges the plaintiff, Henry Wolf, developed a severe case of priapism after a long ride on a 1993 BMW motorcycle. Priapism is a medical condition where a penis becomes erect and does not return to a flaccid state.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
