BMW R-Series description

Excellent  running and driving BMW sport touring bike that is a little more sporty than the RT series.  This bike sports adjustable clip on style grips that are heated. This gives the bike an aggressive stance, but you can ride all day without the fatigue of a crotch rocket style bike. Don't get me wrong,  This thing is fast!!  Of course, ABS is standard an works as It should. If you want BMW quality, style, and unique features, but aren't ready for dads RT or GS, this is it!!

We now know that it has a claimed dry weight of 403 pounds, which should be competitive with its Japanese literbike rivals. The all-new inline-Four powerplant displaces 999cc, and its cylinder head is said to be very narrow and compact, with the valves actuated by “very small” cam followers that are nearly at Formula 1 levels in size.

Lamborghini Plows Into BMW Motorcycle Dealership

Tue, 10 Jul 2012

Pictured here is the carnage left behind after a driver lost control of a Lamborghini Murciélago and plowed through a row of motorcycles parked outside a BMW dealership in Mariano Comense, a town north of Milan, Italy. According to Italian site InFullGear, the driver veered into the oncoming lane while approaching a curve before losing control and running into the parked motorcycles before bouncing off and coming to a stop in the middle of the road. The crash injured three people, though thankfully none of them were seriously injured.
