BMW R-Series description

Mechanically excellent bike. Ready for cross country trip. Has electric windshield, heated grips, ABS, and power point for driver and passenger use. Upgrades include drive lights, engine guards, Wunderich oil cap (security and eliminates oil leak at left valve cover common on these bikes), additional lighted mirrors, reflective tape on back of bike (only visible when hit by headlights), removable back rest for driver, stainless steal brake lines, accessory shelf, hard wired GPS included, and new Sergeant brand front and rear seats. Clutch replaced within the last 200 miles. New clutch cable, new Metzler tires front and rear with less than 25 miles on them. Body work shows normal wear and tear. BMW brand full size saddle bags and too bag fully functional with scratches from falling while off the bike. I don't want to sell it, but I have too many cars and bikes. Time to thin the herd.

A convincing case for owning an electric except for one thing. Credit: Photos by Evans Brasfield With no US publications invited to the press launch of the BMW CE 04 more than a year ago, we had to enlist the help of our friend Bertrand Gahel to send us his thoughts in the form of his First Ride Review. Thirteen months later, we finally got our hands on the BMW scoot.
