Selling a beautiful, restored and updated BMW 1984 R65 LS. Stored carefully for years, until we took it in and had the following parts replaced by a certified (vintage) BMW mechanic. The owner was extremely meticulous and it is practically new.
New brake fluid Brake lines Slave cylinder Master cylinder Battery Tires New oil filter Fuel filter This is very much a collector bike, as the LS was a limited run of the R65 with a slightly different design. Please note- there is an aftermarket windshield, one of the small silver side panels has come loose, and the foot shifter is missing its rubber grip. The Roman Emperor’s retirement after winning the 2012 World Superbike Championship marked the end of an era for Aprilia, with the 2013 campaign marking the first without Biaggi since the Italian manufacturer came back to the WSBK scene with the RSV4. If Aprilia misses its two-time WSBK Champion, it sure didn’t show it with a dominating display at the 2013 season opener in Australia.
NHTSA Fines BMW $3 Million for Late Recall Reporting
Mon, 13 Feb 2012BMW has agreed to pay civil penalties of $3 million for failing to report safety defects in a timely manner to the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration. By U.S. federal law, manufacturers are required to notify NHTSA of safety defects or noncompliance issues within five days of discovering the issue.

My friends at Moto Direct sent me a new RST Pro Series suit to try out, I acquired some new rubber for my S10000RR and young Taylor Mac splashed home to 12th place on his Aprilia in the 125cc British Grand Prix. Being no fashion guru and pretty ancient now I’m satisfied the brightest suit I’ve ever climbed into looks the biz.
