BMW R-Series description

This began as an r100rt and I turned it into what you see.The frame was shortened in rear for the classic 1968 tuck &roll cafe seat.shocks moved forward 1.5 inch new progressive rear shocks, stainless splash pans seat and frame, new front forks by frank, new seals, and progressive spring in front, new O.E.M. master cylinders front and rear with spiegler custom cut brake lines, new metzler tires,1940 ford taillight, new airpod K&N filters, turbo plate with K&N crank breather filter, custom front aluminum fender, billet aluminum clip on bars,A bmw r75 toaster tank, new fuel lines and filters and a new mac 2-1 exhaust and new battery .Mileage is unknown speddo/tach both  work but odometer doesn't turn. This bike starts up and runs great goes thru all gears perfect and has no known issues i did not rebuild engine as it runs perfect.I know i'm forgetting things like greasing all splines etc.changing fluids .Anyway I hate to sell this one because its alot of fun and fast as hell but i have to thin the heard 7 bikes are just to expensive. This is a local pickup only auction with a low reserve.I need a $1500.00 U.S. dollar deposit within 24 hours of auction end.I will assist your shipping company in loading bike. Uship.com has really decent prices

Hero MotoCorps Hires Ex-BMW Designer Braunsperger

Mon, 25 Aug 2014

Hero MotoCorp has hired former BMW designer Markus Braunsperger to lead the Indian company’s research and development division. Braunsperger once held a similar position with BMW in the early 2000s, developing models such as the K1200S before moving on to BMW’s automobile division where he helped design the 5, 6 and 7 series sedans as well as the X3, X5 and X7 SUVs. Braunsperger will head Hero’s new R&D center in Rajasthan, India, starting in October.

2012 Piaggio X10 350i Review – First Ride

Mon, 23 Apr 2012

Back in 1993 Piaggio had developed the Hexagon, which became the world’s first so called GT scooter. Through the X7 to the all new X10, Piaggio has developed its new flagship scooter, and in Paris I got to sample the 350cc version of the X10. Piaggio will offer the X10 as a 125, 350 and 500cc version.

Thumbs up for a chilly N.E.C.

Apart from the freaky weather I have to say last week’s Carole Nash Motorcycle Live N.E.C. show was the best Birmingham event I've attended in the ten years. I really appreciate the fact that manufacturers chose to ignore the recession giving us great stands to cater for every enthusiast young and old.  Aprilia made a welcome return and I don’t know anyone that didn’t enjoy admiring the WSB RSV4, surely the the most gorgeous bike on the planet? The Honda stand rarely disappoints and this year was no exception with banking bikes providing fun for all the family.
