BMW R-Series description

This bike is in excellent condition. I'm the 2nd owner and bought it from a BMW mechanic in 1988. I've only put about 5,000 mi. on it. It's never been down and I have done all the maintenance on it. It has no problems.  There are minimal minor nicks in the paint on the fairing. This is a mostly stock motorcycle. Original tool kit and owners manual included along with some extra tires, handlebars, and cover.

Extras/ maintenance:
Parabellum windshield, Brown side stand, Reynolds ctr. stand and sissy bar, Piaa fog lights, hard cases, new battery, steering head rebuild, front and rear hydraulic brake cylinder rebuild. Ready to ride anywhere.

Thu, 29 Mar 2012

For 2012 Honda revamped the CBR1000RR, Yamaha added traction control to the R1, the GSX-R1000 lost a muffler and last year Kawasaki introduced an all-new ZX-10R.
