Technical Work performed on the motorcycle by our skilled techs: Repaired engine leaks, Replace master cylinder system for front brake and new brake line Remove and replace engine top end and replaced push rod seals, clean cylinders, top end, valves, check vacuum, replace gaskets and seals. Resurfaced valves and recut seats. Remove transmission and clean, lubed spline. Remove clutch assembly and clean. Replace friction clutch disk. Replaced rear main seal, oil pump seal, and transmission neutral switch. Rear clean - Clutch bell housing Install Boyer Digital Electronic ignition system (Remove, strip, clean and assemble carbs. - All new O rings, gaskets floats, needles) Replaced very worn charging alternator brushes Final drive rebuilt - new bearing and seals - Brake shoes replaced Sync, Tune, Timed Engine Needs nothing but a tour!! BMW C650GT Recalled in Canada for Loose Luggage Rack Fasteners
Mon, 27 May 2013Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2013 BMW C650GT scooter because of a problem with its accessory luggage rack mounting. On certain units, the fasteners which secure the luggage rack to the rear of the passenger grab rail may loosen over time. This may lead to the rack, and any cases attached to it, to fall off, potentially striking other vehicles, pedestrians or other objects.
Charley Boorman Tours Canada for New Series
Wed, 08 Jun 2011Actor and adventure rider Charley Boorman is getting ready for another journey, this one taking him across the Great White North on a tour of Canada. Best known for his Long Way Round and Long Way Down documentaries with his friend and riding partner Ewan McGregor, Boorman is touring Canada for a new series called Extreme Frontiers: Canada for the U.K.’s Channel 5. BMW Motorrad Canada will provide Boorman with his ride, likely from its GS line.
