BMW R-Series description

A very special motorcycle rebuilt by us (Bombar's Beemers) four years ago.  It has a rare Don Vesco Rabid Transit fairing, Corbin seat, R90S rear fender, Nippon Denso high end starter, Dyna III electronic ignition, Dyna Coils, Carbs completely rebuilt, all fluids and service performed. Lester wheels and newer tires. Top end of the engine was rebuilt by Peter Bombar. 
Beautiful paint, mint exhausts, and new bags.  Original clock and volt meter.  Engine temp gauge works but not hooked up.  The tank was completely relined to new condition, new petcocks installed, fuel lines and filters replaced, and the wiring was rebuilt in the fairing by Peter Bombar.

New BMW World Superbike recruit, Marco Melandri has been using the Bavarian manufacturer's connection to Husqvarna to get himself a nice new motocross bike for the off-season. Melandri has been riding the Husky TC250 in preparation for the 2012 season, whilst the winter testing ban was in effect. BMW Set New Sales Record in 2011 – Husqvarna Sales Continue Plunge

BMW sold 104,286 motorcycles in 2011, the most units the German manufacturer has sold in a single year in its entire 90-year history. 2011 sales surpassed the previous record of 102,467 units sold in 2007. 2011 also saw a 6.4% increase in BMW’s motorcycle sales over the 98,047 units sold in 2010.

BMW C650GT Recalled in Canada for Loose Luggage Rack Fasteners

Transport Canada announced a recall for the 2013 BMW C650GT scooter because of a problem with its accessory luggage rack mounting. On certain units, the fasteners which secure the luggage rack to the rear of the passenger grab rail may loosen over time. This may lead to the rack, and any cases attached to it, to fall off, potentially striking other vehicles, pedestrians or other objects.
