A very special motorcycle rebuilt by us (Bombar's Beemers) four years ago. It has a rare Don Vesco Rabid Transit fairing, Corbin seat, R90S rear fender, Nippon Denso high end starter, Dyna III electronic ignition, Dyna Coils, Carbs completely rebuilt, all fluids and service performed. Lester wheels and newer tires. Top end of the engine was rebuilt by Peter Bombar. Beautiful paint, mint exhausts, and new bags. Original clock and volt meter. Engine temp gauge works but not hooked up. The tank was completely relined to new condition, new petcocks installed, fuel lines and filters replaced, and the wiring was rebuilt in the fairing by Peter Bombar. 2012-2013 BMW S1000RR Recalled for Loose Side Stands
Mon, 17 Dec 2012BMW has initiated a recall on the 2012 and 2013 S1000RR because the side stands may not have been correctly installed. According to Transport Canada, the side stand attachment bolts may loosen, causing an S1000RR to fall over while resting on the stand. At the moment, the National Highway Traffic Safety Administration has yet to announce a recall, but American members of Motorcycle.com‘s S1000RR Forum say U.S.
